Power-Free Operation: The AQUAvalve 5 is fully gravity-powered, requiring no electricity, pumps, mains water pressure, or timers. Once connected to your water supply, it uses simple gravity pressure to control water flow to your plants from a reservoir of any size.

Plant-Controlled Feeding: The AQUAvalve 5 is exceptionally responsive, opening to supply water up to a 3/4" depth before closing. Once the plants have absorbed the water, the valve reopens to continue the cycle. There's no need for guesswork or complex adjustments, making it easy for plants to get exactly what they need.

Larger 66% Bigger Inlet: The AQUAvalve 5 features a 5mm inlet for 3/8" tubing and fittings, accommodating a wider variety of nutrients and providing faster flow for quicker fills. This improvement boosts system efficiency, reduces maintenance, and minimizes the risk of blockages.
Compatibility:
The AQUAvalve 5 is fully compatible with AutoPot Watering Systems, including System Modules and Watering Kits, and comes standard with 3/8", 3/8"-1/2", and 1/2" pipework and fittings. Existing AutoPot trays, pots, and lids, such as 1Pot, XL, XL SmartPot, and easy2grow, are all compatible with the AQUAvalve 5 and 3/8" fittings.
If you're upgrading an existing system, the original AQUAvalve and 1/4" pipework and fittings are still available for use as spares.
Note on Tank Compatibility:
For existing 12.4-gallon tanks, the hole size needs to be carefully drilled out to 12.5mm using a step drill bit. A 3/8" Grommet and Golf Filter are required to run the 3/8" pipe. Alternatively, you can purchase a new 12.4-gallon tank compatible with AQUAvalve 5 and its fittings.
FlexiTank and FlexiTank Pro Couplers remain unchanged, though connecting directly to 3/8" pipe requires the new 1/2"-3/8" Filter and Adapter.
